Have you ever tried explaining your understanding of what or who God is? Maybe you’ve listened to others expound on their life time of accumulated knowledge and insights as to what is the motive force within their lives, if not even venture into the realm of what is heaven or how people end up in heaven.
It’s easy and often fun to exercise our imagination, but rarely does it seem that anyone is really is able to grasp the magnitude of what they are toying with. What if there is a God? What are the chances that we would fall serendipitously into the correct relationship and knowledge? Does God have any expectations, or are you safely regulating your relationship with a God who only comes out of his hiding place upon your beckoning, sort of like a cosmic bellboy?
It’s easy to see how the ultimate tangled array of ideas, concepts, philosophies, whimseys could not possibly be true, without any divine revelation.

Just following a group, becoming part of a herd, without a personal conviction turns out to be extraordinarily risky.
And… if you come up with a “unique” idea, consider for a moment how that idea maybe influenced by the 24/7 impact of worldly messaging, much comes from school, social media and constant advertising, propaganda, family influence, some of which comes from heretical churches disguised as the way to heaven when it is only part of the wide path to destruction.
On occasion a charismatic leaderwith a particularly attractive idea and be able to drive group think based on popular belief, giving people what they want to hear and not what a holy and righteous God needs you to hear.
If we’re talking about people defining a belief in who or what God is, it’s unlikely that God follows the definition of any person or group who have not had any divine revelation from the One who is God. The product of active imaginations is just that and not God at all.
Is it possible to imagine what a majestic mountain range or the sunset over the ocean looks like if we’ve never seen one before? Can a person living in the 3rd dimension, upon their own intellect understand the reality that exists in 5th or 6th dimension? What can a child walking outside the military recruiter’s office understand what it is to be engaged in a military operation?
Flippant attitudes towards the knowledge of God abound.
The world would like you to think that your best life can be had now and only now and the world is very good at doing what is does to the minds of people which is in effect to be unprepared.

Most people seem to believe that there is a god but are oddly satisfied to not seek or pursue the truth about who God is. Are you satisfied knowing that there is a God but not know anything for certain about who God is? Are you content to know that there’s a God of the universe, yet not know anything about that being?
Of all the world’s religions, which, if any, are a reflection or revelation of a God who is true? If there is a God who is a sovereign creator, he would need to be an unearthly powerful being if he was in fact responsible for the creation of life and holding together the universe as we know it.
Consider that only two possibilities exist, because truth tends to be very exclusive. Logically considering, all people’s throughout history understanding of who God actually is is simply wrong, or off the mark. On the other hand, one can be completely correct. Where does the evidence lay?
