Personal Testimony: For much of my life I look back and ultimately found myself desperately far from the will of God, this affected my prayer life. Not understanding the will of God makes for an impotent and destructive prayer life and one likely to be a spring pad for idolatrous, self-righteous behavior.
When a lifetime of idolatry proved unable to satisfy my soul, leading me to a state of spiritual despair, I finally surrendered my life to Christ in 2022 at the age of 59. Through determined effort to be hauled out of my spiritual hell-hole, I found my only way out was to respond to God’s promise to those who sincerely seek Him as both Savior and Lord.
In effort to better understand the Lord’s expectation for my life, I prayerfully read the Scripture, beginning with the Gospel of John and then reading the entire Bible straight through and back around to the Gospel of Luke. Instead of being convicted by the Law, I came to love God’s Law and the revelations of God’s truth, glory, and grace.
Oh, how I love Your law!

One of the disciplines that resulted from surrender was reading the Scriptures daily and frequently. Especially in this day and age, when we run the gauntlet of every worldly distraction with its deadly intent to succumb to temptation, each of us needs to understand the need to repent and to seek The Way through God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

An Evangelist who can Connect
I generally do not link to other people’s websites, as a matter of exercising my own point non-AI driven perspective, but I feel compelled to share someone’s work who I feel is noteworthy and relevant to my own personal beliefs. What I’ve learned from Ray Comfort, a former surfer and Christian Minister from New Zealand, about spreading the Gospel has been like a major revelation about how simple the focus needs to be to help people understand God’s message message of grace.
Ray is biblically grounded and skilled individual, gifted by the Holy Spirit to be able to connect with people the way he does. Instead of me trying to explain, I decided to show one of his hundreds of videos that highlight interviewing people, whether they are just on the street or on college campuses, to help to get them, in a short period of time and logical argument, to see the eternal value of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross.
