Fatherhood in a Technological World – Episode #2
Personal technology, the life intrusive kind, is here and permeating every aspect of society. First understand, or at least develop a working concept, why and how high-tech is the new reality in the lives of most children and how it often cannot be avoided. Accepting or becoming knowledgeable why there is such a massive influence will help you put your concerns in context and help you conserve mental and emotional energy and focus your parenting efforts.
Although in this video I do not give my observations about how families with young children can live and grow in a minimal technology or handheld technology-free environment, I am addressing what I see as most families, including my own. Stay tuned in the future for some some insights about parents choosing to go without high technology in their children’s (Yes, It is possible).

Fathers of young children in today’s modern society are facing unprecedented challenges with the wave of technology allowing ever easier access to the internet. The effect on your children has and will have a great influence on their growth. As a parent, you may be feeling the anxiety of having to confront the challenges of being at the end of the rail of the powerful forces driving technology into the laps and hands of your children.
Your work is cut out for you are a father. Even though popular culture doesn’t do well to herald the value of the leadership role of men in the form of fathers, let me tell you right now, being a father in this time and age has never been more important.
